Editing is designed for desktop. On this screen you can view the bracket; open the tools below if you need to change something.

Everything stays editable: type your own team names, set scores and dates, then export the bracket as an image — a PNG in three sizes, no watermark.

What "free" means here

"Free" here means free to use and free to download: every format, every export size up to 3×, the CSV schedule, share links and the sample brackets, with no account, no email wall, no usage limit and no paid export tier. Everything runs in your browser, so there is nothing to charge for: no server draws your bracket, and no server stores it.

We do not add a watermark, and we never put ads in the editor or on anything you download from it — the exported image, the CSV or a share link. If you want your own watermark — a club name, a sponsor, a date — you can type it in yourself and place it in any corner.

Your team names and scores stay on your device (browser storage), and nothing you type is uploaded. The bracket maker sets no tracking cookies; the analytics the site runs is cookieless.

What pays for it: the reading pages may later carry a little advertising; the tool and everything you download never will.

Three steps to a finished bracket

1) Paste or type your teams, one per line. 2) Pick a format and check the live preview. 3) Download the PNG size you need, or copy a share link if the bracket is still being played.

Everything stays editable: rename a team, set a score, add a date and venue, then export again. The image is regenerated from the same data, so the preview and the download never disagree.

2 to 128 teams, byes handled for you

Non-power-of-two team counts are where most free tools get awkward: 5, 7, 12 or 24 teams cannot fill a bracket neatly. BracketBee places the byes automatically and gives them to the top seeds, so seeds 1–3 walk straight into the semi-finals in a 5-team bracket instead of you drawing little empty boxes by hand.

You can also seed by list order (your ranking) or turn seeding off and pair teams in input order. A third-place match is one click if your event needs one.

Export sizes built for sharing

Square 1080×1080 for Instagram and X posts, landscape 1920×1080 for slides and screens, portrait 1080×1920 for stories. Export at up to 3× (3240×5760) when you need print quality.

Playing a league instead of a knockout? The round robin formats come with a schedule view, a standings table, and a CSV export of the fixture list.

Frequently asked questions

Is BracketBee really free?
Yes — free to use and free to download: the bracket maker, every export size, the CSV and the sample brackets, with no account and no watermark. There is no server drawing or storing your bracket, and the tools we plan to sell are aimed at organisers. Our reading pages may later carry a small amount of advertising; the editor and everything you download never will.
Do I need to sign up or give an email?
No. There is no sign-up at all. Your bracket is saved on your own device, so you can close the tab and come back to it.
Can I use the bracket for a company or school event?
Yes — commercial and school use are both fine. The exported image is yours; print it, post it, or share it.
